First Sunseeker Manhattan 94 Launched Ahead of World Premiere in Cannes
The debut of this model marks one of the most significant milestones in recent years. The Manhattan 94 represents a new direction in the brand’s evolution while preserving everything owners value in Sunseeker yachts: distinctive British design, intelligent use of space, dynamic performance, and extensive customisation options.
The launch ceremony took place in the presence of Sunseeker engineers, carpenters, electricians, and other specialists involved in the yacht’s construction. The first hull will now undergo a comprehensive sea trial programme before being presented to a global audience at the Cannes Yachting Festival 2026.
The Manhattan 94 will be the largest yacht in Sunseeker’s display in Cannes. In total, the shipyard plans to showcase ten models, including the new Manhattan 56 and Manhattan 68. This lineup will highlight the evolution of the entire range and demonstrate Sunseeker’s unified design language across different size categories.
A New Spatial Architecture
The defining feature of the Manhattan 94 is its reimagined main deck architecture. A spacious penthouse-style saloon is surrounded by floor-to-ceiling panoramic glazing, while sliding doors on the starboard side open the interior directly to the sea. As a result, light, air, and the surrounding seascape become an integral part of the living space.
The saloon is designed as a place for relaxed living and socialising. A large L-shaped sofa, refined furniture, and integrated storage solutions maintain a balance between aesthetics and functionality while preserving clean interior lines. Forward, a dining area for ten guests is positioned, while a decorative partition subtly separates the guest living space from the crew quarters, ensuring a balance between service convenience and owner privacy.
One of the key advantages of the layout is the main-deck master suite. The owner’s apartment spans the full beam of the yacht and includes a private lobby, a spacious bathroom, generous wardrobes, and panoramic glazing on both sides. It is a true private residence, filled with natural light and fully separated from the guest areas.
On the lower deck, there are four guest cabins. The Manhattan 94 can accommodate up to ten guests, ensuring a high level of personal comfort for everyone on board. The cabins can be configured with double or twin beds and feature en-suite bathrooms and ample storage.
Life at the Water’s Edge
The exterior spaces of the Manhattan 94 continue the overall concept of openness and freedom. The beach club at sea level creates a private waterside relaxation area, while the spacious flybridge is connected with the foredeck into a unified outdoor living experience.
Forward, there are two independent lounge areas and an enlarged sunbathing space. The raised wheelhouse is seamlessly integrated into the yacht’s dynamic profile and remains one of the most recognisable elements of Sunseeker’s design language.
The aft garage is designed to accommodate a Williams SportJet 395 tender and offers additional space for seabobs, paddleboards, and diving equipment. The signature X-TEND™ system allows the aft area to be transformed at the touch of a button: in the lowered position, the seating faces the sea, while in the raised position it becomes an extension of the cockpit.
Performance True to the Sunseeker Name
The Manhattan 94 is powered by twin MTU diesel engines and is capable of reaching speeds of up to 26 knots. Optional Humphree X-Series stabilisers enhance comfort both underway and at anchor, while advanced navigation systems ensure precise and confident handling.
For the future owner, the key strength of the Manhattan 94 lies in its balance of attributes. It is a spacious yacht with a full-beam owner’s suite, four guest cabins, and extensive leisure facilities, while still retaining the dynamic character and recognisable handling of a Sunseeker.
A Confident Start for a New Model
Interest in the Manhattan 94 was established even before its official world premiere, with the second hull already sold. According to BOATPro, Sunseeker currently has 16 yachts in its production pipeline.
The launch of the first Manhattan 94 coincides with an important new phase in the shipyard’s development. Sunseeker has announced its transition under the ownership of Cross Ocean Partners and Cheyne Capital, along with the appointment of Scott Millar as Chief Executive Officer. The new leadership team and investment support provide a strong foundation for further expansion of the model range and the long-term execution of the brand’s strategy.
