Sunseeker Unveils The Original Mavericks Brand Platform at Cannes

Predator, Manhattan, Ocean and Superyacht are becoming the four core families of the brand, while the first product announcements show how this new structure will develop further.
On 8 September, the opening day of Cannes Yachting Festival, Sunseeker held a global press conference bringing together several major announcements: the brand refresh, a new design direction, the world premiere of the Manhattan 94, and the 86 Ocean Enclosed and 45M Superyacht projects.
For Sunseeker, this marks the next stage of the major changes that began in 2026. They now extend beyond the corporate structure and product plans to the way the brand presents itself and shapes its model range.
The Original Mavericks
At the heart of the new positioning is the The Original Mavericks slogan. It brings back into focus what Sunseeker has historically stood for: independence, the confidence to make bold choices and a character that is instantly recognisable on the water.
This is not rebellion for its own sake. It is about the freedom to follow your own course: not automatically following the market, not blending into a uniform aesthetic, and preserving the energy rooted in the brand’s racing heritage. It speaks both to the yachts themselves and to the people who choose them.
The refreshed visual identity follows the same idea. It is cleaner and more contemporary while retaining Sunseeker’s historic codes. The new brand expression is built around confident presence, movement and recognition — without unnecessary decoration and without trying to reinvent what already defines the marque.
Four Sunseeker Families
One of the most visible changes is the new portfolio structure. Sunseeker’s current model range is now organised around four families: Predator, Manhattan, Ocean and Superyacht. The Superhawk 55 has joined the Predator family, while Manhattan now brings together models from the Manhattan 56 to the Manhattan 94, including the 76 Yacht, 88 Yacht and 100 Yacht.
The distinction between the families has also become clearer in terms of purpose. Predator retains its focus on dynamics and performance, Manhattan on a contemporary and versatile approach to motor yachting, and Ocean on space and extended cruising. Superyacht becomes the territory of the highest level of personalisation. This is the differentiation Sunseeker outlined in Cannes as the basis for the future development of its model families.
This allows the portfolio to be structured not only by yacht length, but also by the way each yacht is intended to be used.
New Models
The main on-water premiere was the Manhattan 94. The first hull was launched ahead of the show, with its world debut taking place in Cannes. The 28.60 m yacht features a full-beam owner’s stateroom on the main deck, with four guest cabins below. Maximum speed is stated at up to 26 knots.

Sunseeker also presented the 86 Ocean Enclosed. Its defining feature is a fully enclosed upper deck combining the helm station and Sky Lounge. At 26.17 m in length, the yacht gains an additional protected interior space with panoramic glazing. For Northern European cruising, this is a particularly practical solution: the upper level remains fully usable in cooler weather, wind and on longer passages.
The largest of the announced projects is the 45M Superyacht. The new 45-metre project is being developed on a semi-displacement platform and is expected to offer a gross tonnage of approximately 440 GT. Construction of the first hull is scheduled to begin in the third quarter of 2027, with delivery planned for the second quarter of 2029. Sunseeker has also announced the signing of a Letter of Intent with an existing client of the brand.

Sunseeker’s renewal therefore already extends well beyond the visual identity. The new positioning creates a clearer brand structure, with each of the four families taking on its own distinct product role.
Cannes Yachting Festival 2026 became the first major public presentation of this direction. Its next stage will be defined by the new models and by how consistently Sunseeker carries this approach through design, layouts and the ownership experience itself.
